Positive Rewards Ltd. (“Positive Rewards,” “us” or “we”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy in connection with your use of The Feeling Good App (“App”), which may be updated from time-to-time at the sole discretion of Positive Rewards.

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) and any other documents referred to herein set forth the basis on which any personal information we collect from you, or that you provide to us, in connection with the App will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal information and how we will collect, use and safeguard your information.

  1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU

We do not collect any personal information, that is any information that could cause you to be identified.

We use Google Analytics (“GA”) to analyse information collected from the App to allow us to monitor the functioning of the App in terms of its technical function and your use of it and any therapeutic effects.   Your device identifier (ip address or imei) is encrypted by GA so that all data is anonymous.  In this way no-one can identify you as a user of the App.

If you have been given a username and password by a health or social care professional or other person, which allows you to unlock the tracks free of charge, you cannot be identified from inputting these codes.   On entering these codes the App generates a random 6 digit number to enable the App to match questionnaire data at week 0  (depression and anxiety mood scores)  with week 10 (repeated week 0 questionnaires along with App usability and effect). At no stage is any information collected that could be used to identify you.  Data is anonymously aggregated by us for evaluation, with the purpose of monitoring and improving the App and our services.  We may share this anonymous data with our partners e.g. Foundation for Positive Mental Health and/or known external bodies such as funders and/or institutions. We do not share your information with other companies that may use it for advertising and marketing.

As no personal data is collected our data collection processes are compliant with the EU GDPR regulations (General Data Protection Regulations). Your submitting of these codes is consent to your opting in to allowing us to collect such data as we do from the in App questionnaires (none of which is personal data).

 

  1. CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY

The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow the most recent regulatory EU and NHS standards to protect all information submitted to us, both during transmission and once it is received.

As we do not collect your personal data, we cannot provide your personal information to any third party.

  1. WHERE WE STORE YOUR DATA

Data collected from the App is stored in GA, in anonymised form, and is stored securely in the cloud accessed by us through a 2 step authentication process.  GA does not share data between GA users.

 

  1. CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes these will be documented in the ‘Whats new’ app upgrade area in the app store.
